Curtains & Roman blinds available to residents of the Nottingham & Derby areas

Curtains or window dressings come in many shapes and styles. We can advise you on the best options, from poles with eyelet headings to bay tracks with the popular hand-pleat heading, or the latest: a contemporary wave heading.

Made to measure curtains and Roman blinds are our speciality. We offer a free home measure service covering Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire and the surrounding areas, where we can discuss your needs and bring samples to your home to match to existing furnishings. Or we can measure up and keep the details, so that when you pop into our showroom shop you can browse through our range of fabrics and discuss your requirements with the ladies, who will manufacture your curtains in our own workroom.
With our variety of high-quality custom curtains, allow us to furnish your home with style and beauty. Our tailored, bespoke curtains will ensure you create a unique and original living space and we also offer a fitted curtains service where we will come and personally fit your new curtains into your home without any hassle.

We carry a selection of fabrics from: Ashley Wilde, Clarke and Clarke, Fryetts, H & S Fabrics, Harlequin, iLiv, Kai, Porter and Stone, Prestigious Textiles, Style Library and Villa Nova: a range of books all with complementary colour schemes, including wallpapers, with new ranges being added all the time.

Pencil Pleat Curtains

Pencil pleat curtains are a classic heading: it can be 3″ or 5″, giving a luxurious pleat to the tops of your curtains. It can be used for curtain tracks and poles, and is used under pelmets.

Eyelet Curtains

Eyelet curtains give a soft uncluttered fold (for poles only)

Hand Pleated Buckram

Hand pleated buckram can be finished as a Duo Pleat or Triple Pleat, hanging to cover a track or beneath to show off your pole, and gives a crisp heading to bring the best out in your fabric.

Roman Blinds

Roman blinds, if inside the window recess, add a splash of colour without adding clutter, if outside the window the Roman blind dresses the top and leaves the windowsill free. We use a chain lift headrail, which gives even pleats when pulled up, time after time.
Roman blinds can be fitted behind dress curtains or with a shaped bottom, with or without braid or beads, dressing the window whilst still letting the light in.

Wave Heading

This heading is an alternative to the eyelet or hand pleat; it can be used on ceiling or wall fitted tracks or poles and gives a simple wave to the curtains.

Swag and Tails

Swag and tails are a dramatic dressing to any window. They can be paired with curtains or a Roman blind in a matching or contrasting fabric, or a simple roller blind to give privacy at night then be pulled out of the way in the day.

Alternatively, they can dress the top of a window or door where no other window dressing is needed.

Voile’s give a stylish finish without blocking out the light.
